2001 Puddle of Mudd--Blurry
I loved this song so much when it came out, I bought the CD. Then another. Remember those? CDs?
Anyways, I've heard the rockers consider this stuff pretender-heavy, but the musicianship is apparent in all aspects of the playing. I love that guitar harmonic riff, for example. Not a lot of that present in current pop music. And the heart bared pretty raw in the lyrics. Resonated with me as a young dad when tres_arbolitos was only two years old and visions on 9/11 were still fresh and frightening. Thanks to PoM whereever you guys are now.
